Prof. Prakash Mahanwar having 32 years’ experience in the field of higher technical education and presently he is working as a Director - Institute of Distance and Open Learning, University of Mumbai and Professor of Polymer Technology, Department of Polymer and Surface Engineering, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, India.

Under the guidance of Prof. Prakash Mahanwar, 3 Nos. Post-Doctoral, 30 Nos. Ph.D. and 105 Nos. Masters students completed the research work.

6 Indian Patent Granted to Prof. Prakash Mahanwar and numbers of technical papers and books chapters published in International and National publications. Prof. Prakash Mahanwar awarded and honored by various government, Non-government and other bodies. He had appointed as expert on some Government bodies like NAAC, UGC, and DSIR- New Delhi and Expert Member, Industrial Safety Audit Committee, Government of Maharashtra.

Prof. Prakash Mahanwar worked as consultant to various Indian and multinational industries, as well as experiences of working on the statutory bodies.

Prof. Prakash Mahanwar having experience of organizing events such as workshops, seminars, conference, and training programs. He attended as a keynote speaker for various events.

Mr. Dilip Patil is B.Sc.Tech. (Paint Technology) from most prestigious Institute- University Department of Chemical Technology -UDCT, (Now ICT), Mumbai, India

Mr. Dilip Patil having Over 33 year’s Industrial experience and worked with ShayamKamal Ink, Shalimar Paints, Premier Auto. Ltd., Mazagon Dock Ltd., and Excel India Protective Paints Pvt. Ltd. Worked in several sections such as- Research & Development, Formulation, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance, Plant Operation, Production, Raw Materials testing, Vendor Development, Raw material Sourcing, Technical Services and Procurement departments.

Mr. Dilip Patil having Extensive experience in Execution and Inspection of Ship’s blasting, Paint application, Marine insulation Application and ICCP Cathodic protection system for ships with various International and Naval standards. Experience for survey and Audit of Paints and Painting, Preparation of Technical literature for products, Preparation of Paint scheme and system with Inspection, As per NACE, ISO, SSPC, IS, ASTM and other International Standards.

Mr. Prakah Dhapre having Over 33 year’s Industrial experience and worked with IPCL- Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, Chemtreat India Pvt. Ltd., Sarabi Petroleum & Chemical Pvt. Ltd., and Total Petroleum Ltd., worked in various departments such as-Research & Development, Formulation, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance, Plant Operation, Production, Raw Materials testing, Vendor Development, Raw material Sourcing, Technical Services and Procurement departments etc.

Mr. Prakash Dhapre founded- VRINDA Petroleum & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. as a petroleum, and chemical products manufacturing unit in 2002. Currently Mr. Prakash Dhapare holding the following positions with various units.

• Director of “VRINDA Petroleum & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.”
• Proprietor of “VAXO Chemical Corporation”, A manufacturing Unit specializing in the production of various types of waxes and its emulsion.
• CEO at “Aditya Akshay Urja” , A business aimed at promoting and marketing products dealing with Renewable Sources of Energy such as Wind and Solar.
• Technical Director of “VRINDA Li-iON Batteries”, A manufacturing unit for Cathode and Anode active materials such as LiFePO 4 , NMC 622, Li 4 Ti 5 O 12 used in Lithium Ion Batteries and Lithium Battery Recycling

Mr. Prakash Dhapre is a Life member of Dharmanath Charitable Trust, Pune and honourably appointed on District Advisory Committee at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, New Delhi.

Mr. Shivaji Durgavale is B.Sc. (Tech.) in Plastic Technology from UDCT (now ICT) Mumbai, India. Mr. Shivaji Durgavale has done MDP in Project Management and Accelerating Innovation at IIM Lucknow and IIM Kolkata, having more than 31 years of experience in development, localisation, manufacturing and commercialisation of synthetic resins like Alkyd, Polyester, Acrylic, Amino, Epoxy, PU, Silane modified resins, NAD, Phenolic, CED Resin, blocked isocyanates, PUDs, emulsions, textile auxiliaries.

Mr. Shivaji Durgavale is also having experience in polyolefin based aqueous dispersion as heat seal lacquer, PUD’s and solvent free adhesive for flexible packaging, cast polyurethane, 1K moisture curable PU, wood finish and can coatings.

Mr. Shivaji Durgavale is worked with Mitsui Chemcals India PVT.LTD. Kansai Nerolac Paints LTD. Caprihans India Ltd. Sunmark Chemicals and Rammica India Ltd.

Published papers in Paint India, IRMA & ISSPA magazines & delivered lectures on different topics at The Colour Society Paint Diploma course, ISSPA & IRMA workshop.

Mr. Shivaji Durgavale travelled to Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand for business purpose and he got prestigious president award at TOKYO JAPAN in 2016.
